Burned plastic from the tea kettle?
Boiling water and forgot… Burned for so long that the plastic parts of the kettle melted and dropped on the stove. A lot of burning-plastic smell in the kitchen overnight, just separated by a thin door from bedroom. Is this enough to harm health already? Also, what to do with the melt plastic that has stuck on the stove? thanks!

I once heard that we should not drink water that’s been left in the kettle overnight. Why is this, and does this also apply if you pour that water into a glass jug after boiling and left overnight? How can this affect our health?
