How do you make quality tea? Do you have a special kettle?

I think if you only boil water and pour over tea in a can, it is not qualitative way to make tea. I believe the tea flavours and nutrients are coming out when you boil the tea.

Why is brewing tea in a kettle bad?

I’ve already searched for the answer and no one seems to say "why" it is bad only that it "is" bad. I have found that some of the answerer’s on here have done it, however. I don’t see what the difference is…yes, a kettle can get stained from the tea, but so can a ceramic teapot. Either one would need to be cleaned afterward. Do the deposits from the tea absorb more into the metal? I would appreciate some scientific backings on your answers and/or refs. please. Thanks!

How do I get rid of water residue in my kettle?

This is disgusting. My kettle is fairly new but recently whenever I make tea there’s this tiny bits of whitish substance flowing on top. Whoever has seen it says it’s water residue , but as hard as I scrub it , it doesn’t go away.

    Help please. Thank you.
P.S. NOT an electric kettle. Just the regular kind you place on the stove. THX.

Do you know the best brand of cordless electric kettle and where can I buy it?

I’m looking to replace a stainless steel one cordless kettle made by GE – it takes forever for it to boil!
It looks like a regular kettle, except it sits on a base that looks about like a trivet with an electric cord that plugs in. You leave it on your counter top, filled with water. Then when you are in need of hot water for soup, tea, cocoa, instant oatmeal, whatever, click it on and the water comes to boiling in a minute or two and automatically shuts off (if it’s a good one). Any recommendations?
